Default some help please

my dealer told that if i get an exhaust it wont cancel my warranty but if anything happend to the car later on and especially if its caused by the exhaust i ll be talkin full responisiblity of what will happen
in other words the warranty will be over

he also mentioned that a check engine light will apear or something

so will an exhaust damage the car in anyway?

I added the Roush O/R Exhaust to my car which is basically new exhaust from the H pipe back to the tips and I did not get any check-engine light.

I have the same exhaust as wilkinda. From the H pipe back, no changes you make are going to cause a CEL. Its all about how you want your car to sound. That dude was just being a typical dealer type with a typical case of cranial rectal inversion.

That guy is full of the proverbial poo poo. It will not void your warranty.

Besides, if you go with an axle-back setup, it would only take 20 minutes to put back to stock before any pending dealer visit . . . if you want to avoid any potential hassle.
