Default New gears/ tune help!

Well finally went with the 4:10's, car is at dealership for he install.

My question is, I am presently running a Brenspeed 94 octane tune,Do i need a new tune from Brenspeed to run the new ratio or can the dealer make the change in settings in the SCT programmer?

Also, is there a problem with driving the car without the proper gear ratio or should i return the car to stock before i drive away?

Thanks.

nope you dont need a new tune. just change the gear ratio in the car via the handheld tuner. You have a stick so you are good to go! The only thing if you dont change the ratio in the tuner is your speedo will be off a little

Just as Matt said. Updated tune is only required for automatics due to changing shift points. Otherwise it's just for the speedo.
