They got them before they had to go back and fix the car! I hope they don't do nothing to alter the power! Once again this is just speculation!

Referring to CAFE Regulations ^^^^ 10GTstang Imma look into that!

PCM has been used in Trucks.
A6 has been used in Trucks.
M6 has been used in Trucks.
Two different Engines.
Brakes have been used in previous cars.
Body was the same on 2010.

CAFE is not a real issue yet. Its still at 26.4 mpg combined (unadjusted not window sticker numbers). Im sure the GT is on restriction (as well as 3.55 and 3.73) but that simply slows production of that model and cars with that option.

Only thing I can think of that would effect all cars is the new Electric Steering Pump.

and as far as de-tuning...

Isn't that why we can all buy reprogrammers?

Not worried, I know guys in the business with them in transit by truck right now to their lots for sale.

It will not be June or July.

New cars (and new versions of cars) get delayed all the time. The new SHO got delayed almost two weeks due to paint defects.

Whatever it is, be glad that Ford is stopping them now to fix the issue, instead of letting them go out and recalling them later. Ask yourself, which is really more of a pain in the butt?

But as far as the cause goes, I'm sticking with defective muffler bearings.

I heard it was for defective passenger airbag covers and hissing from the Shaker 500.

No wait...

Common supplier delay issues. In this case it's the muffler bearing vender.

There was a bad batch of muffler bearings from Korea that made it onto the production lines...

Jeff
That's good news, and I hope you're right. Hopefully one of those in transit right now is mine.
