Yeah, the thing is, if I'm going to get a used one that is clean, I want it to be perfect, which is black with black leather for me.

So, looking at the two I listed.

Does anyne see anything wrong with the first one? I like the price tag on that one the best and the mods on it are pretty tasteful I feel. The louvers will be gone, but thats an easy job.

What is going on with the second one? I've never seen a "Saleen" that isn't modded much at all. Can anyone give me more info on it? Is it worth the extra price tag?

It's not really a Saleen though is it? I just don't see anything Saleen about it...it's not SC'ed or anything. Did Saleen make anything like this back in 2005? Just badge up a car and do a few mods to it? Like the seats...maybe suspension...wheels?

And yes, I am young, but it doesn't make me an idiot. I'm not saying I'm a genious when it comes to this, but my age really doesn't need to be brought into play. I'm trying to learn, because I love these cars and this forum, but I'm not inept, trust me.

Just talked to the seller of the "Saleen." It's a woman who got the car from her husband in a divorce. She has no clue what she is talking about it seems, but she's firm on the price. I just wish I knew what was going on with this car...

So is it still underpriced? Maybe it's underpriced because the woman has no idea what she has in her possession?

if that is a real saleen, which by a quick glance it appears it is, it is probably worth 2x what she is listing it for. You are right she has no frakking clue what she is doing. Her husband knew he would murder her for sure.

That line seems to much like a scam that's been going around for a while. They steal someone's pictures and information, and then list it with a low price. I'd imagine she stole the info from the ad howarmat found.

Ask her if you can see it (that you're going to be in town), and see what she says. She'll start making excuses about how she doesn't have it with her, but she'll have it shipped to you once you pay...
