I still think it's more noisy and mechanical sounding than it needs to be.
sounds like it's cycling between CDs, mine did that .. piece of crap. Its all good, it just needs a new head unit. The lows suck , the mids are flat and the highs are less than inspiring. it's all in the deck, the speakers are fine, just needs better adjustment possibly an equalizer..

I agree that the Pioneer unit is the way to go.

CD-Rs tend to delaminate in the player on extremely hot days.
The single player is fine with this and spits them out when requested.
The 6 disc player does not and goes into error mode.

Yes, it's like it's trying to decide which CD to play but keeps changing it's mind. "That one... no, this one. Oh wait... she selected this other one."

Yeah... I hate when it spits perfectly good CD-Rs that work fine.

I installed a FH-P8000BT in both my GT with a Shaker 500 and my GT500 with a Shaker 1000...I cant tell you what a difference...It brought the entire system to a much higher level and quality...can make your ears bleed with perfect clarity!!!! I didnt need all the navigation...so this head is perfect and I just plug in my Ipod and no CD changing...
