2011 Mustang Beta Testers needed!
Like the saying goes... "doesn't hurt to ask"....
but don't be offended or suprised when I say there's NO WAY IN HELL you can touch my brand new 2011. It's not an issue of trust, but rather risk vs reward. $42k car being dinged/dented/blown/abused vs $200 tune? HMMMMMMM......nope
thanks for the offer though

Seriously, you are treating a reputable company like he is the new kid in town you have never met asking to borrow your car to go and buy drugs. What's the problem allowing them to dyno the car, run it to redline, and try different tunes in the PCM? Do you not suspect they have enough experience to know what will work and what won't before a possible destruction? I'm sure they would protect your car as if it was their own. I would do it, and not hesitate. I have a factory Ford warranty AND they would pay for any damages done. You are getting a worthy return for the service. Stop acting like your car is the best thing in the world and it's irreplaceable. You should act that way about your significant other, not a material possession.
Geez, you'd think the guy was asking to sleep with your trophy wife ffs!

to be completely honest....i would let diablo do this in a heartbeat!!! i have enough faith in the company to know if something goes wrong they will fix it. the company has been around for a long time and they've got a bunch of knowledge in this field...plus just think bout it..no telling how many magazines your car can be in just cause you let diablo tune it
Wow, Mike I am a little embarrassed to be a member of this forum after a comment like that. I think you are doing someone a big favor here and I wouldn't be discouraged, your offer is extremely generous. Some companies want to R&D a vehicle, take pictures and take their stuff back...

Don't get me wrong, I love my car, but I realize what it is, and it's a car I bought to drive, and frankly, drive hard on occasion. If you don't want to lend your car out, fine, but be polite and respectful about it.
If I wasn't in Vegas, I'd consider it a privilege to have my car tuned in person by one of the big players.
It's like Jordan offering your kid a few practice games for free, versus some guy that went to one of his training camps.

Did you guys check out the video of the car we had here on the Dyno last week?

Big thanks to our local customer Alex (Vakane) for letting us use the car, and for all the other offers I have received.

Seriously. It's not like it's some start-up operation that is going to disappear overnight. It's freaking Diablosport mmmkay.

+3. This was my first "must reply with this comment" idea. I'm embarrassed by some of the replies directed towards DiabloSport. I don't want him to bypass this forum next time as it may involve me and I will sign up. That's not too far of a drive for me and I would be gung ho about it.
