I'm not trying to be a wise guy here, but I do not think Driver 72 crossed any line here.

He was pointing out some of the alternatives to asking a Mustang owner if you can borrow his/her car for the sake of testing tunes. I don't know about you, but if I were testing a tune on my car, my right foot would be mated to the floor for most of the test.

(Now the following is being a wise guy...)

You would have a better chance to have my wife for the weekend than my car...(sorry hon), which is no chance.

Wow

A lot of people posted on this in a hurry.....

No one has offended Mike, at least I am sure that was not the intent.

People are just reacting to the idea of "loaning out" their car, and obviously some of us simply would not (at least our price has not been met, lol).

Sorry if I embarrassed anyone...

Does your "best friend" know that!!! (I doubt it!)

I went with SCT, but Diablo is a well respected name in this arena...and I am sure if anything went terribly wrong...they would make it right with a "beta" tester.

A POLITE no thanks, not for me would have been a more appropriate response.

Just my 2 pennies

p.s. FYI: There = a specific location; they're = a contraction involving "they" and "are"; their = indicates possession. HTHFJ

This is correct, so many people don't know the difference.

Nope, James hit the nail on the head. The rules he posted are fact.

Bingo! We have a winner!!

I wasn't gonna post here but I think you should come here more often, R.
You know, share part of the abuse with some of us, lol.

Mister Diablo man, I apologize for some of the members...
Some folks are really close to their cars but I'm sure they mean well after all.
