Default Sync iPhone problem.

Hi guys new to the boards.
Anyway, sometimes when, I'll have my iPhone sync to my car, the music is distorted. It doesn't matter if I have it plug it though USB or Bluetooth. It happens around 20%-40% of the time. I have all the updates, what is wrong?
Thanks

Try another device to determine if its the iPhone or the vehicle's system. You can even use a USB stick so you don't have to buy a new device. Also make sure your music file source is not corrupted. Rip a few CDs to a USB stick and try that out as opposed to your current music library. Also post your problem/findings on www.syncmyride.com in the forums. That seems to be the largest SNYC community along with support moderators. Good luck

I have had issues with garbled sound over USB and he solution was to replace 3rd party cable for authenic apple cable. No idea why it mattered but it worked for me. Bluetooth audio is less reliable and has a poorer audio fidelity in my opinion.

I beleive there is a known problem with the latest version of the iPhone OS and sync. A new iPhone OS is due out in June and hopefully it will fix the problem. You might also try updating sync, they add new fixes for compatibility all the time. My stanf is a 10 and we just bought the wife a 10 Edge. Her car has features on sync mine doenst because of a newer sync version. the sync updates are free.

personally I switched over to a 16gb thumbdrive so I wasn't charging my ipod all the time it works great. Not really a good answer to your question but it might be something to try out

I have the latest updates. I also am using an official apple cable.
I'm going to try using a USB drive and see if hat works.
