It's the timing chain tensioner... It puts pressure on the delron piece that puts the tension on the timing chain. It has to be compressed to be installed without breaking the gasket on the backside.

I will be in the upper 500's but I am more interested in getting a fast track time over high HP numbers... However I do agree, as long as they are running... BONUS!!

I'm gunning for 505 crank horsepower. Should be easy enough with the stroker.

Yeah, 505 to the crank is nothing... I'm talking upper 5's to the ground. I think your goal will be very easily reached.
