Default tokic d specs to firm?

So I noticed lately that my car makes clanking sounds when I ride over uneven road. When I first had my tokico installed I loved them, ran great but now i notice that if its not on a smooth surface it makes a banging sound as if it was hitting another metal piece. I have had them on for about 1200 miles so far. Do you think it might be to firm? If it is how do I soften them up (yes I read the threads about how to) but I don't literly see where the adjustment **** goes. I looked for pictures or vids but nothing. Any help guys?
