So I was looking at the pics in that first link of the shifter. For reverse, the line shows it going kind of diagonal then over and up. WTF does that mean? How do you get this thing into reverse?

I guess you can tell I drive an auto. LOL!

It's like my svtf, you pull the shifter all the way to the left and in goes in this little gate, hard to explain and then push up.

Depends on the dealer. My local dealer was selling SS camaros at MSRP from the day they got them in. And my market is typically pretty expensive.

Knowing the local Ford dealers here I'd be shocked if there wasn't some markup. You should hear what the morons at the Dodge dealer tried to pull on me when I went in there to get a challenger r/t.

I thought perhaps you push down on the shifter then over. I've seen some 6-speeds that way.

Check out the window sticker, that's not a markup at all:

It's a convertible California Special like I thought, with almost
every option available, which explains the high price tag.

Still way more than I would pay for a GT.

http://www.santanford.com/new-inventory.aspx 2011 GT Premium for about 40K MSRP, windows ticker is available too. I'm still waiting a couple years for them to get the bugs worked out like it took for the S197 models.
