Very nice airplane. Do you fly at all Paulejr? I fly a Cessna 172 - currently got one year left of school and I should be a certified Air Traffic Controller A few years ago I worked at my local airport as a lineman and there was an older gentleman who owned a Warrior and a P51 Mustang. He could hardly walk, yet he would go up in his warrior all the time. One day I overheard him talking to someone else and the P51 he owns is the same one he flew in the war! It's definitely a beautiful airplane, I loved washing it and just going on the wings and looking in the cockpit.
Anyways I look forward to seeing this build!!

I would say something like this would be awesome...

Kind of pays tribute to the P51's huge scoop underneath the airplane and this would give you the power to backup the functional hoodscoop since it's a supercharger too. I dont know if this is out yet or not but I have seen similar setups that look really nice and I definitely think it would be sweet to see on there.

Heh Makes sense. Hmm are you going for more of a looks vehicle, or are you looking to do both performance and looks? If just looks I would say then just get the Shaker functional hoodscoop. If performance I would get a non-functional one (roush maybe?) and paint the hood matte black or something. Not sure what to say. Also I took a pic today of that P51 as I just happened to stop by the airport. I'll try and post it up later
