ok, so about 3-4 weeks after i installed my JLT CAI and the BAMA tune, my engine has turned off on me 3 times when idle.

the service light just turned on yesterday, but it goes off every once in a while...

could it be the tune? or the intake?

the rpm's rev up like from 2-3 1/2 all of a sudden then it goes from 3-less than half and then the engine turns off.

idk whats wrong, should i just re-install the stock airbox (im selling the car anyways)

im puzzled by this...

 

Dirty throttle body and/or maf.
Cleaners are available at all auto parts stores.

The intake could be loose at the throttle body.

 

Could be un-metered air getting in somewhere(leak in the intake track) from loose hose clamp, ect.

 

Didn't you just get your mustang a few months ago?

Most likely it's either one or both of those 2 responses.

 

yea i just got it and now im selling it, financial problems cause of UTI...

so ima end up selling the CAI and tuner,

btw the car is stock now, thanks a lot guys...

its all good, i guess, ill be getting it again (in idk 2-3 years) and it wont be v6, most likely a manual V8 lol

it was a good run...

any tips on selling it quicker? i cant seem to get it to sell...its been almost 4 postings on CL and i cant sell it.
