2011 - V6 3.31 limited rear axel ratio option
I am planning on ordering a v6 MCA edition, and one of the options is a 3.31 limited rear axel ratio. I am a complete newby when it comes to these features. Can someone explain to me what are the pros and cons of adding this feature? The mustang build website does not explain too much. Thanks ahead of time!

Pro - Car "pulls" harder/faster. The higher gearing will help build RPM faster.
Con - Lower MPG but not by a ton or anything.
I ordered 3.73 in my GT and I think a lot of people are going with 3.55. I dont drag and just enjoy the car so 3.73 works for me....I had those in my 08 Bullitt which a bunch of guys over at IMBOC put 4.10 gears in and loved them. I dont think you will not like them unless you were going for fule mileage.

the 2011 V6 that I had today was fitted with 3.31s...the car could definitely use some more gear..the 3.7 really seems to like the revs.
my 2011 GT test car had the 3.15 gears...and it was still a hell of a mover. I bet that they are NASTY with 4.10s.
a link to my little 2011 review teaser..
