Default those of u with Pypes MM system!! I have QUESTIONS

I currently have an 07gt automatic with 410's and cai. I have a install date for the detroit rocker cam on june 1st. I was thinking while the car is in I would get some exhaust work done. I was thinking about getting the Pypes Mid Muffler system and either x or h pipe. But im not sure of this b/c we take my car on vacations and i dont want a lot of drone. So i was hoping to get some insight on what u guys thought. Plus what gives u the best or most torque the h or the x. I was thinking the x but i dont really know. My main concern is drone as i could handle a little but not alot. I know its asking alot if u want the old school sound without drone but would surely like to hear some thoughts from those of you that have the set up.

Yes I did some research on this site and guys were talking about a break in period for the mm system so hopefully i can get those people to chime in as im sure they have went through the break in period

thanks in advance

I ran the pypes mm system with an o/r h for a few months and it was okay. Drone wasn't bad but it is pretty loud.

That being said, I seen a 09 gt today and I had to chase him down because it was the cleanest sounding s197 ive ever heard. It was smooth loud and deep. I mean this thing sounded perfect. Turns out its Mac long tubes off road x and pypes mm system.

I will be going back to the mid mufflers asap. Get em you wont regret it.

I have a pseudo m/m set-up with pypes catted x. It's 12" resonators/glasspacks which are similar to pypes M80s and SLP LM. It has a nice tone and very little drone.

That's more like a quad muffler system. How does you set-up sound? I sometimes replace my SLPs with MACs so I also have a quad muffler set-up from time to time.

4:10s will make it drone less. They put buoy in higher rpms so less drone. Since your getting cams have you considered an o/r h with the new flowmasters? Those things sound sick

Flowmaster American thunder classic. They have a square case and are stainless steel. They are a 2 chamber muffler. They are nice and deep but sound downright evil with cams
