Default Creaking brake caliper

Front passenger side caliper sounds like the hull of a pirate ship when I pump the brakes.

*Creak *Crick *Creak *Crick

It's not the pads or rotors, it'll even do it if I'm in Park. Disassembled and greased up the travel path of the pads and that made no difference. Pins seem to be traveling fine. They seem to be operating fine otherwise. Anybody else encounter this? Think it should be a cause for concern?

Did you try applying brake caliper grease to the pins?

Just a thought probably not the problem but try bleeding that caliper.
May have some air in it or dirt or some thing. You could just try cracking
the bleeder and compressing the pad with it on the car. Should'nt take
long and who knows may get lucky.

Grease the caliper slide pins, the shims that the pads contact and the back of both inboard and outboard pads.

Can the pins be regreased? How do you remove the rubber boot?

That's a good idea. I'll have to give that a shot.

I greased all these spots when I did the brakes a few months ago, But I only regreased the clips that the ends of the pads slide in the other day to try to stop the noise. I didn't think it could have been the shims, but I suppose I should at least try regreasing them also.

I have a buddy that every time he compresses a caliper he cracks the bleeder.
Just in case of dirt or condensation. Dont want to send that stuff back in the brake line.

Did anyone ever figure out this problem? I have the exact same problem on mine. I've googled all over, and this is the forum I found that most closely matches my symptoms. I sure hope some one can offer me some advice.
