I use the jack quite often. When I did my brakes, painted my calipers etc. Never used the spare and the tire iron seemed to be too small for my lugs.

I can't remember the last time I used ANY jack that came with a car. Last time I had a flat, five or six years ago, I was on the way to an autocross and had a floor jack in the trunk.

Any of the three floor jacks I have that still work, both sets of ramps, and the little ramps that keep the valance from getting scraped on the big ramps are easier to get to than the one in the trunk. So far, I've never needed to use the Mustang's spare.

I think its worth pointing out that it isn't that can't use fix-a-flat. It is if you do you probably will ruin the TPMS. Now it might be worth it to save on a tow or some other option. GM covered the replacement of the TPMS in my SAAB when I used it without knowing better not sure what Fords policy is.

no on jack and/spare since it didn't come with one.

would have used them though when I got my flat earlier this year...first one in 10 yrs.

Ended up raiding the jack from my Expedition and some 3 ton jackstands I had in the garage. I hate scissor jacks, so I bought a low-pro hydraulic jack for around the house. Only 3.5" tall when lowered position.

I hate screw jacks too but I have used it only once in 2 years so its really a non issue. I was pleasently suprised to find the temp spare to be the same height as the stock PZeros. I am also glad I purchaced lifetime tire rotation flat fix and tire replacement from Discount Tire a year ago. The tire got down on the side wall so Discount Put a new PZero on instead of fixing the flat. The tire was evidently almost flat when I drove off but the sensors don't wake up till you get 20 mph. Then they go back to sleep 10minutes after you stop.
