Default Roush hood scoop removal

My matte black Roush scoop suffered a bad Y shaped crack in a freak hail storm. Most of the hail was pea sized except for a few golf ball sized chunks. One of them hit my scoop.
I ordered a Satin Silver scoop and I will have it Friday.
After I remove the nuts underneath the hood, will the tape peel up pretty easily or will it be a hassle?
I will try the fishing line technique, but with the 7 studs sticking thru the hood, I don't know how effective the fishing line will be.
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks,

Spray some paint-safe adhesive remover before using the fishing line and you should be okay.

it will peel. roll it with your thumb.
3M emblem remover FTW at autozoner or peppem boys or oReallies...
no-no to the non-safe for paint goof-off or goo-gone carp.
or rubbing alcohol or peanut butter
you should not have to do the fishing line trick...

It aint stuck as well as you think its stuck.
The tape is only bout 3/8" wide and very sparse.

Thanks for the input. The tape isn't very wide. 8x240mm in the rear and 12x250mm on the sides. My fear is bending the damn hood when I pull up on the scoop. 3M emblem remover eh? I'll check Autozone.
Rear Blackout gone. Satin Silver scoop this weekend.
