2005-2010 Mustang: Replace Two (2) Lower Control Arms, Includes Time To Diagnose (Do Not Use With Any Other Labor Operations)

Anyone have this taken care of on the mustang? Ford's service department said they are going to replace mine but I have a $100.00 deductable. I'm just curioius what lower control arms they are using to replace them.
thanks

I had this done on my 2007 GT500; I understand they replace them with the front LCAs from the 2010 GT500. Perhaps they do something similar for the Mustang; that is replace them with those from the 2010 Mustang.

The TSB did not fix the front end low-speed clunking, but my car is lowered.

I had some annoying front end clunking recently but it was just the bolt that ties the strut to the sway bar. It was loose, causing it to move up and down in the hole.

Take your $100, and apply it to some decent aftermarket lca's.

Well, that's what I was considering, but if they are switching them out for the gt500 lcas, I heard those are actually pretty decent and I won't pay for labor.

My car is lowered also...too bad it didn't fix the clunking.

Well, it looks like from what little I've found on other forums is that they are the GT 500 LCA's and a good improvement. One guy swears his car handles better.
