Default Fuel pump?

Alright so a while ago my car would get the hesitation after a long cruise on the freeway when you try to take off. Then at some point recently it started to actually shut down the engine when you try to get on it after cruising for a long period of time.

So recently I just got some new bamachips tunes for my car (87, 91, 91 race) and I loaded up the 91 race into my car to test it out before I head to the track in the next couple weeks. Problem is sometimes when I take off sort of hard from a stop light it sometimes hesitates in either 2nd or 3rd gear and maybe sometimes 1st. Its really random and doesnt happen all the time. It does seem like if I rev it up and then start to go it does it.

I loaded the 87 tune on it and drove it just a little and it didnt do it yet.

So my questions is could this be the fuel pump or was that just tune related? I know it might need some more fuel or something for a more aggressive tune but im not sure. What do you all think?

There was a TSB regarding this issue after long drives. I don't remember which one though.

EDIT: Here's the TSB
