Default stripe issue

So I got my v6 203a just a few weeks ago, I noticed what I thought was just a water spot on the side stripe thats on it. I just now washed it (just would not stop raining recently) and the spots are still there.

I haven't talked to the dealership yet, but my real question is do I want to get it replaced or just get rid of it. Its hard to see on the kona blue anyway, but I kind of like it subtle.

You are gonna have to circle the spots for me to see them.
I can't tell what you are talking about.

I bumped up the contrast, but its the lighter colored vertical stripes going down the stripe

Have you tried a clay bar?

That may take them off.

What color is the stripe, flat black??

Looks like some kind of chemical ate into it. Might have to replace it.

I have flat black stripes and I have had water spots on them.
They come off.

I can tell you I am not sure if that is what those are. I don't have them on my side panel so I have never seen running ones before.
I would try a clay bar as suggested and after that take her to the dealership.

On a side note.. those stripes look to be grey and not flat black to me.
Maybe it's my computer screen.

And oh yeah... if it is flat black.... did you use any chemicals besides soap to clean the car?
Any kind of liquid wax? May be some of it dripped down your stripe?
Waxing flat black stripes is a no-no.

I have waxed my gloss stripes buit you have to use an orbital or it will streak horribly. Looks like new after waxing properly.

not waxed, just washed. I think I am just going to have them taken off, I'll take the weekend to decide.
