Default It this too much money?

Hey guy i need to see if you think im getting ripped off. I have 410 gears, lowering springs and lca ready to be installed... now i know the springs and lca i could prolly do but i honestly have no tools, jacks, stands etc. well i asked our mechanic how much to install all three and he said 750.00 cash. Imo i think its a little high but it is a reputable shop. So what do you guys think?

It does seem a bit high for both the gears and suspension but most people would be willing to pay a bit more for gears done right the first time anyway. I'd see if I could get him down by about $150-$200.

You don't know anyone who can help you do the lowers or loan you some tools? They are one of the easiest things to do on the car and are a 1-2 hour job if you have the tools.

Sounds a bit high.. Gears should be no more than 200-300 bucks (depending on the area that you live). When you say lowering your car are you doing anything else) I would most def shop around...

I agree with the other guys. Find a buddy with some tools to help.

Way too much imo. Even if they charge like $90.00/hour labor, it shouldn't take them 7 1/2- 8 hours.

No way in hell I'd pay that.

I have 1 friend with those kinds of tools he are just always out of town for busines so that sucks. All my other friends know jack about car so i doubt they have the tools. maybe i will just get the gears done and wait for the rest till i get a chance.
