Default Sand like granduals in exhaust

I can say they appear like fine Silica sand grains...but I am sure they are ceramic...I was pushing my GT500 WOT in 2nd gear (13 lbs of boost with a stage 2 Brenspeed package)and a cloud of white dust was blowing out as I reached readline...I checked and found the granduals in the exhaust pipe...I am thinking the cats are coming apart...anyone else ever see this??...

One of our members (Boozshey) blew his motor as a result of a clogged cat. Get that sorted pronto.

I have ordered a new h-pipes with high flow cats from MRT(Mustang Racing Technologies)...In my research I have found that sometimes the cats just come apart for no reason...stock 500s included... I guess S*** happens...

Yes, it is your cats... speaking from first hand experience. Same exact symptoms as what you describe. When I took mine off to install my headers, the passenger side cat was completely blown clean, the driver's side was cracking and breaking up.

Blown clean would be fine... if it all came out in small particals...wouldnt have a plugging problem...going to be pulling the pipes soon...if they are blown clean...or I finish breaking them up and clearing them while off...would I need to replace them??
