Default Anderson cam

Anyone on here running an anderson cam on their 3 valve s197? Would love to know how it sounds and performs on these mustangs. I know its a good cam, i have one on my fox. Im thinking really hard about getting one for my 08. If not ill just go the hot rod cams route.

if you give me the cam specs (like shown below) i will plot it on
the graph. seeing the differences in valve events, might help you
choose.

Cams Stock vs. Hot Rods
----- ----- --------

IVO BTDC: 15 / 49
IVC ABDC 53 / 51
Total Duration 248 / 280

Lift 11mm (433) / 12mm (472)

EVO BBDC 80 / 97
EVC ATDC 19 / 19
Total Duration 279 / 296

having the above specs, allowed me to plot stock vs. HR's, as shown
below.

why thank you Hagwood! it's been a work in progress, the first few
revisions were not nearly as clean and easy to interpret.

i don't have one for any other cam, mainly because i don't have the
kind of specs needed to plot them.

Well silverpony, don't want to seem like a smart a$$ but you are going to need "two" as opposed to one in your Fox (LOL). Hope it all works out for you..!!

I have the specs to the Detroit Rockers blower grind but it's in a text file at home. I'll post it later.

Comp will easily give you the specs for both DR grinds. They don't care.

thank you silverpony!
it's so nice to be able to get a feeling about the valve timing events and how they differ.

i've seen those specs SirKnight on the other forum, but i can't make
heads or tails of it. they are not in a format that i can work with.

Oh ok. I wasn't sure if you had seen them on the "other forum."
