Default Does FORD still recommend BP???

Just wondering if the 2011 has that label anywhere inside the fuel door that my 06 has on the gas cap??? Can anyone that has taken delivery on a 2011 confirm or deny? Maybe that's why they are not being shipped, to remove that label if it exists...LOL

Around here, BP is the ONLY gas station that sells ethanol-free gas. So I buy BP. And I also recognize that small business owners who own the BP gas stations have nothing to do with the oil spill....and that gas sales are a tiny fraction of BP's income so you can't hurt BP there.

I still buy my gas at BP since it's the only station in my town with 93 instead of 92 octane, and don't have any problem buying gas from them. I was just wondering if FORD still included their endorsement of BP considering the general public's opinion on how they are dealing with the gulf travesty.

I have an '06 GT with the BP label on my gas cap. Does anyone know of a way to remove it as I have never particularly cared for it being on there.

All of the BP stations in my city have added the sticker to their pumps,"May contain up to 10% ethanol content" and I was like WTF!!!

Honestly, I don't care what station you buy your fuel at, it all comes from the same supplier in your area.

And even that doesnt mean its in there. There may not be any and there might be 10%, you dont know unless you check it.

Yeah, it depends on what supplier they receive full from that day/week. Some might have it, others don't.

True, a buddy of mine drives a gas tanker... They all come out of the same tank at the Port Of Tampa. He said it depends on the brand on what additives go in. But it's all the same. I was just up in Georgia last week, and premium fuel up there stated that is was ethanol free. Only the premium. Here in Tampa Bay I only found on station that doesn't have the ethanol.

A very small percentage of BP's revenue comes from retail gasoline sales. A 100% boycott of BP gas wouldn't be a blip on their radar.

But it would put out of business thousands of hardworking common small business people that own the gas stations.

If you're going to advocate economic warfare, please pick the right target.
