Default Rear seat delete

I want to remove my rears, but on the driver side I cant unlock it the pull strap went into the back of the seat. Can I still remove my seats? thanks guys.
Also if it can be done, is there a write up to this? or is it something so simple?

Please weigh them after removal so I can find out how much of a savings it actually is. I think my seats look sexy, and it's nice to be able to put extra ladies back there, so gotta consider the benefits vs. disadvantages..

Assuming I have the visualization correct in my head, could you unbend a clothes hanger and use that to fish out the strap?

A considerable amount. Bet the seatbelt assemblies are an additional 5-10lbs.

Alas....not likely I will ever get any ladies to go back there, in my car.

Mine were cloth. I bought the cheapest and plainest S197 off the lot to mod. Watched removal...seemed very easy...and seat was very light...probably around 15 lbs.

I think the only way you'd get ladies in there is if you slipped them something

My seats are leather
