I was invited to a Ford event in July about Sync and to check out the new 11 Explorer. While talking to the PR person, I asked about doing hands on reviews of their cars and she said she would work out the logistics. I didn't think much about it because PR types often say that and things never work out.

Just in case I covered my performance bases and asked for the 11 5.0, the 11 GT500, and the Raptor. They sent me an email a bit ago, the 6spd 5.0 with all the goodies will be here on the 30th for a week of fun and games. On the 10th, the GT500 will show up for a week. And they are getting a Raptor into the fleet for the south and it will head my way when it gets into the fleet. I am excited, I have been watching for my local dealer to get a 6spd GT to go test drive, this is much better. I am curious how it will feel compared to my SC 10.

 

Damn thats cool. I wish I didn't have crumby smaller Ford dealerships nearby . . .

Lol, better go to Motor Trend for those. I'm half afraid to drive the damn thing, not sure i coudl afford to fix it if i broke it. I will say that is the only truck I have really ever been interested in other than the Syclone.
