Default intakes..

anyone have any opinions on some intakes..I have a aem dry intake now but seems awfully hot all the time. Are they all going to be like this. My trucks didnt seem like it was as hot as this one..can i relocate it to actually get cooler air instead of just engine heat

+1

I am also looking at the "Fresh Air Kit" from JLT to compliment the CAI.

I love my DeMolet intake but would love one of the WMS high velocity intakes. I think they're a smart and great design.

Traditional cold air kits did move the filter to the lower front of the car but that has its problems, like water induction. I've known several people who have blown up an engine because of those kits. I love the Ford Racing airbox design but most of your intakes for Mustangs have at least a basic heat shield. If you wanted to add cooler air, you could add ducts to your lower grille
