Our S197's are typically hot as hell under the hood and the engines heat soak pretty quickly. There's not much we can do about it. Even the kits claiming to be Cold Air Intakes do nothing more than decrease intake temps a few minor degrees; nothing that makes any difference.
Even those guys that were able to convert theirs to ram air weren't seeing any noticeable gains.

I have a solution
I have an thermo-tec cool tube air intake brand new insulator #14500. It works very well. jegs/summitracing want $45 + 9.99 shipping. I will let it go for $35 shipped in the us. just email me at ad79915@yahoo.com
