Security devices are not necessarily meant to totally PREVENT theft. Many are considered a DELAY and to a thief, time is precious and is often enough deterent to make him move on to another vehicle. Nothing is a sure thing...

 

Don't feel bad, I didn't even know there was a glove box until about a week after owning the car...I thought the console box was all there was.

 

I'm glad I have a nice safe garage...
