Car revs on its own with foot off pedal...
I have noticed recently that after accelerating and then lifting my foot off the gas pedal, the car will rev slightly. It doesn't happen that often, only occasionally.
Also (perhaps this is related), it seems like sometimes when I am trying to accelerate away from a stop that the car doesn't want to move at first and then I end up giving it too much gas and I lunge forward.
Could these all be signs of a dirty/sticky throttle body or something? Any other ideas as to what could be causing this?
I originally thought it was a separate issue since they appeared at different times, but in case they are related here is a link to another thread where I discuss another issue:

Fly By Wire.... Mine will sometimes surge after I've been on the highway for a while. Or it will hit a dead spot. I've reset it a few times. But yours may be something different. You can try to reset it. It's a cheap free fix, if that's the problem.

Nature of the beast, sadly.

+1000 vacuum leak.
Reset and then if no change check vacuum leak. It will happen more after you sit in traffic and hot outside. Have you put an air oil separator? have you changed you vacuum hoses? Check you vacuum hoses for potential kinks.

Isn't resetting it when you turn the car "On" without starting and slowly accelerate while sitting still then let off the pedal or is that re-calibrating it? Maybe reseting is disconnecting the battery?

If it's stock or just tune and CAI:
Vacuum leak it could be.
I would check the intake and for loose fittings in and around it.
Then I would take off the thorttle body and use an entire can of cleaner on it.
