Default newtakeoff.com Wheel&Tire Combo.

Anyone have some input on newtakeoff.com?? I need new rims the roads have beat up the rims and the tires are from the factory 27000 miles 2006 Mustang GT 1 over stock. They have 2011 Polished 18 8.5 with Tires $14000.00. Any thoughts in the Mid West so the Winters leave the Summer roads like some in Iraq LOTS OF HOLES BIG MF HOLES!

Thanks

I haven't ordered from them, but if you have problems with bad roads, you may want to opt for 17" wheels instead of 18. The extra inch of tire sidewall may help keep your wheels from getting damaged as long as the potholes aren't too big.

+1 , or run something like a 255/45/18 I can tell you right now that you have plenty of tire height for bumpy roads as thats the same setup I have.

I bought the 18" NTO's that were on the 2010 GT. They were $999.00. They have the zero nero tires (P235/50/18zr) and so far they've been great. Just rotated them, with 5000 miles. I still think it was a great deal!! Here's a tip that might save you some money. If you have a location/business near you that has a fork lift, you can shipped there much cheaper, via common carrier, rather than UPS. I"m near a business, and set it up with them, to be delivered there. Common carrier charge was about $40, vs. about $140 UPS. The guy on the fork lift just drove them to my house (about a half block) set the pallet on my drive way. Major looks improvement from the 17" stock rims. Good luck

PS NTO is in Ft. Wayne, IN. and you're in Ohio. I'm in IL. so the shipping should be about the same.....

I thought about that too, but they told me they don't do any retail at the building, and if they did they would have to charge you Indiana sales tax, which would be more than the shipping charges.....PS I like your handle my name is Terry Wayne, and I thought about that one.....
