First welcome, second, lots and lots of options. Figure out what your long term plans are and make a plan from that. Dont just buy a cai and tune cause its an awesome first mod cause if you plan to go FI you would have wasted some $. I dont plan to go FI so this is what I did in order.

cai/ brenspeed tune
enkei wheels and 255/285 rubber
4.10 gears
longtube headers, h pipe, hf cats
detroit rocker cams
flowmaster mufflers to eliminate the drone from the ones that came with my car(bought used)
Drag radials to get some traction at the track

Without being blunt about it, search. This topic has been beaten to death.

808's suggestion's good, though.

Well, exhaust can be modified in a number of ways, it all depends on deep your pockets are. Simply changing out the axlebacks will yield an improved sound, but no gains. Anything short of a full cat-back system will give you minimal-to-zero gains in performance. For optimal performance and sound, longtube headers, an offroad midpipe, and your choice of axlebacks are the way to go.

Like I said, it depends on your goals. A little more aggressive sound, or do you want to squeeze out all the power you can?

Let me re-direct you to this page. This will answer any and all questions you may have about various exhaust sounds.

Unless you plan to go FI, a good CAI & custom tune will net you about 20-25 RWHP. Cams with LT headers will add about the same as the CAI & tune. UDP's and an aluminum DS are good for freeing up about 4-5 RWHP each. An electric water pump frees-up another 5 RWHP. You can probably achieve about 320-330 RWHP with most of the bolt-ons and the cams without getting into anything else major.

As stated earlier, exhaust work beyond the H-pipe won't gain any performance.

Dude, what the hell do you want to do to your car?

First post) More performance.

Second post) Exhaust and appearance.

Third post) Exhaust.

Fourth post) Intake.

Follow 808's suggestion, but a tuner WITH A CUSTOM TUNE. Without a tuner, all other mods will suffer. An intake that doesn't require a tune is next to worthless. That's your starting point. Get out your credit card, and buy this: http://www.americanmuscle.com/cnl-sct-0509gt-kit.html

After that, come back and see us.
