40k is GREAT for one.
But as stated before I'd see if they'd go lower for the sake of saving even more cash.

I got them down to $34,000 out the door with tax title and license, so sale price of about $32,000. It has 11 miles on it and has been stored inside for the most part. I hope to pick it up tonight. This will be the 3rd s197 I've owned (06 V6, 05 GT & 07 GT), I always wanted the Blackjack, but wasn't going to pay $57,000 for it.
I did drive (2) 2011 5.0s a Premium GT with an automatic with 3.15 gears, that was a dog, it felt like I was starting out in 2nd gear, no low end power at all. I also drove a base GT with a manual which felt much better, but didn't have any options and it was still slower than the Roush.
I'll post some pics when I pick it up.

I would say under 37000 is good they must be looking to get rid of it by now. I don't see why any one is mentioning a 2011 or a shelby they both will never be as rare and a shelby with low miles like 1000-2000 sells for upper 30's any way. I love my stage 3 it feels like it dances around turns unlike the shelby which feels like a GT + 200hp and a sticker package.
Edit: Just saw you bought it, great purchase for 34,000 nothing will sway my opinion on the Roush they're amazing.
