I think both choices will look great on your new car.....had I not gone the route I did, I would definitely have chosen something along these lines.

My spoiler was originally painted Torch Red to match the car. The very first time I encountered one of those driveways my spoiler was spider webbed. Three months later, it had bald patches. I removed it and repainted it with black rattle can truck bed liner which is somewhat flexable. Now when it gets dinged can I just retouch it in about 5 minutes.

Thats a good idea and it seems like it would retain a textured plastic feel to it.

I hear ya.
Mine was perfect for about a year. I've got stress cracks and several touch up spots now.

Looks great though, I like how it matches with the two-tone of the car.

Yes it does and sort of a semi-matt look. I put the black V6 rockers on my car and painted my rear valance with the same DupliColor truck bed paint. I felt the black around my Torch Red car made the body look slimmer. And that painted stuff is easy to maintain with "Black Magic" or similar product.

Yeah I was going to get the flat/textured painted on from Moss muscle since it's only like $15 more than the non painted part. Then if/when I hit something I'll rattle can it. easy mode. Got the CDC decklid on last night. It's awesome. It look semi out of place since it's the main black accent on the car. Once I get my badges today and paint them and then chin comes it should look good. I'm hoping that the chrome rims look good if the car is black and yellow.

I'm lowered about an inch and don't have too many problems... you'll just have to learn to go over dips sideways and not straight on... and you CAN NOT pull up to parking curbs.

I scratched mine up pretty bad a few days ago when I parked on a slight incline. I wasn't touching the curb when I put it in park, but when I released the brake it rolled forward a bit before park engaged :[
