Default How to straighten hanger?

To make a long story short one of my exhaust hangers is bent and it makes my exhaust ****-eyed. I have tried beating it straight with a hammer, and other various techniques that didn't do anything. What will be the best way to have it straightened out?

Thanks

Put it in a big heavy vise, should do the trick.

Appreciate it, the other option I've heard was getting an exhaust shop or so heat it up and bend it back?

my brother-in-law's dad used a breaker bar type tool on my mufflers to straighten them out

I tried a decent size rubber one and nothing, I think I'm going to have to resort to heating it up...

Yeah the heat would for sure help. I have a pretty big metal one that i've bent hangers with before.

I made this adjustment to mine, before I did the final install. Set them on the floor on a piece of cardboard, and the used a large pipe wrench. It seemed to bend pretty easy. I think it would be really hard, if it's still on the car. Good luck.....
