Default Suspenstion overhaul

I just want straight-forward answers on this one...I do not want this thread to be filled with debate.

I am planning a complete suspension replacement on my ride.

For those of you who have done the same, which product do you suggest? How much? Why?

Whoa whoa whoa, easy on the details there!

Tell us what type of suspension you want; race, street, comfort, slammed, etc.

you can not ask such a wildy openeded question on a forum and expect no debate.

I have Eibach pro springs, bmr adj lower control arm and sway arm, CHE K member brace, che upper control arm, Granatelli Motorsports boxed subframe connectors, bmr relocation brackets.

I bought all the items because I felt they were the best item I could get to fill there slot vs there cost at the time of purchase. Meaning each item was the best combination of quality and value.

Overall I like my suspension. It is very tight, handles very well. Very predictable in corners, pretty good straightline traction. VERY good all around perfromance, while not being setup to be so good for one application that it is a pain in the rump on the street.

your going to get a bunch of different answers. no straight forward answer. most common would be (i want it lowered and to handle nice)......

soooo, you are going to want a nice set of springs, shocks/struts, sway bars, gt500 upper mounts, squat brackets, control arms...

my .02

springs - frpp
sway bars - bmr
control arms - steeda
upper strut mounts - oem gt500
c and c plates - steeda
squat brackets - bmr
shocks - tokico (spelling?)

there is also a bunch of nice suspension kits out there. they are designed to work together and do different things like drag, sport, yada yada

trust me, do a TON of research on suspension. countless threads if you search the history of this section.

I gotcha.

Def. want something that is lower by about 2", and I would like to take corners very easy. Looking to spend about 4 grand.

2" lowering will limit you IMO from getting a good front chin splitter or better front fascia for better down force, it will scrape a lot and you'll bump your bottom guards on dips a lot. I wouldn't go lower than 1.5 inches. Steeda comp springs, Koni sport adjustable shocks/struts, adjustable swaybars, Steeda G-trac bar, STB, Shock tower brace, Watts link(great for hard corners, no butt skip, and much better rough road rear wheel contact) fixed LCR's for road racing set for pushing out of corners(not Drag racing type).

That's a good start for my money. Erik

2" is drastic. Think and research before you commit to anything like that. OOPS. are we debating yet?
