Nope. I bought my car for it's American-retro styling. The front of the '10-11's still maintains that heritage but it seems to me that Ford made a concession to the international market when it designed the rear-end. The 10-11's somehow look stubbier because of the curved rear bumper. The 5.0 motor is great technology but 370 rwhp is still not enough for me. I'd have to F/I the car anyway. With all of the third party power and appearance upgrades available for the 05-09's I've been able to personalize my car to everything my minds-eye appreciates in a car; a true rolling representation of my personality. To this day I'm still upgrading. To this day, everytime I park the car, I walk a few steps away, turn, look at her, smile, and think to myself - "Beautiful!"

I thought about just like you did. I have about 2 years too pay on my car till it's paid off. I decided to keep my 06 and just supercharge it. You cant stop evolution so on that aspect I hope the 11 is a better car than mine. Before I bought my sc I was very seriously considering a used c6 maybe a 08 or newer, but that had in my price range 55-68000 miles for 29 to32000 esp since my car just rolled over 16000 miles. I think just have fun and enjoy whatever you have..

I'm having such a hard time parting with mine that I have no intention of parting with mine hahaaha!

If you love your car don't get rid of it. End of story.
If you want more power mod your car to get the power instead of paying a boatload for a new car and going into debt more.
Especially if you like the other aspects of your car better.
You will regret the trade in later.

Not to hijack the thread but Saddle... when are you going to quit pondering and finally get those Hot Rod cams?

I'd like to have them......right now!

The thing is.....I have to figure out how to get them installed. There NO are speed/performance shops in this area.....maybe even in this state.

Man I understand that feeling.
It completely SUCKS.

I had to drive over 200mi. to get my install and had to return a couple of times do to other problems.
(not the cams)

I'd say your next step is to start a thread asking about shops in your state... or at least someplace you could make it a weekend out of.

Whatever you do... don't give up on it.
The cams are so awesome. I just can't explain how cool they are when you get them installed.

Do some research... find the nearest reputable place.
Call them... talk to them... explain you are having to drive a distance. But make SURE you let them know if something comes up you WILL drive your *** back there to have them fix it. I am not saying anything bad will happen but let them know that you are not a person that they will see only once.
Tell them you will either be back to get a problem fixed if there is one... or to use them later when you add more mods.
Either way let them know you are just not a one time customer traveling from afar that they will never see again.

Also let them know that since you are making such an effort for the drive... and trusting them, you expect everything to be perfect when you leave.
Oh yeah.... and somehow find a way to be polite while doing that hahahaa.

Bottom line though.
Get the cams girl. Do some digging...find a place...
AND GET THEM!

You need to add another choice in your poll: "Already done it".

I had an 06 and traded it for an 11 on June 28th. I do miss my
06 some, but I'm happy with the 11. I thought about trading in
my 06 for a long time. I was dead set on getting a new Camaro,
but when I started reading about the 11 Stang, I knew I had to
get one. There was a financial issue as in; if I didn't get one now,
I would never get it.

Except for the tail-lights the 11's kill the 09's and down in every category.

Funny thing is? The tail-lights on the 05-09's look too flat and boring now.

Interior, handeling, quarter panel "hips", the powertrain....the list goes on and on.

There is no comparison and yes I had an 07:
