no I don't wish that at all. Why would I want to pay more (both cost and insurance) for a car that is heavier, gets worse gas mileage, and is at best barely faster than the new v6, albeit only in a straight line?
+1 exactly my thinking, there new 2011 V6 are amazing. nothing better than have 300+ horses and 30+ MPH on the highway =)
i dont regret not getting a gt, im perfectly happy with my sixxer. its not that i dont like the power, dont get me wrong. but my sixxer does what i want it to when i want it to. i dont drag race, i only occasionally autox and road coarse, and she does just fine.
Whats going to be rare is the fuel it will require you to drive one in the future...
What good is a 2010 mustang if it just sits there like a paperweight.
Well, that's not much different than all the garage, trailer, and dyno queen cars out there today. And, btw, no tree huggers allowed in a Mustang forum.
The '10 won't be rare, there are a pile of them out there. I see a lot of them used as rental cars. In the next few months, there will be a glut of '10 rental cars hitting the market.
Best comparison I can think of is the Cobra. 260 cars are very rare but worth less than the later 289.
Best price Ive seen on a 2010 GT Base is $23,500 and a 2011 GT Base is $27,000. Thats $500 under invoice + $500 Bonus Cash + $750 Brochure Rebate on the 2011.
