Re-load Brenspeed tunes
I'm thinking that my car is running rich, because I get worse MPG than when I loaded the tunes. I have had them now for 6 months. Still running 87 tune.
Need help how to reload tunes...

What kind of handheld tuner do you have? You pretty much re-load a tune the same way you loaded it the first time. Plug in the tuner and follow the prompts.

+1 on reloading the same way you initially loaded it.
Have you tried the 2 other tunes to see how your fuel mileage compares? I find my 93 Brenspeed tune is a bit more of a guzzler over my 89 and 87 due to how the engine pulls in the various RPM ranges. You shouldn't see more than a 1-2 MPG drop, if that, unless you're really getting on it more often.
I'd give Brenspeed a call and discuss it with them. They may have you do some dataloging or simply send you a new tune(s).

This is normal. I used to get 20mpg in the city and I now get 17.5-19. I know they state you get better MPG but it actually goes down. I'm guessing in part to the better throttle response and overall better performance. I know I get up to 50mph a lot quicker now so I'm sure I'm using more gas which can contribute to my now lower MPG. Maybe if I went with the 93 tune and never got on it I would notice an increase in mpg but then again I would be paying more per gallon.

When I reloaded my Brenspeed tunes I first had to flash back to stock, then reload the 93 octane tune. I dont know if that is correct but when I tried to just reload the 93 it gave me an error, "no stock tune found" if I remember correctly.

Thanks for info guys. I just remember getting constant 21-22MPG after I installed tunes and now I am right at 19MPG. Maybe the hot weather has something to do with it. Im going on a trip tomorrow and after I get back I'll try to re-load the tunes again and see if it makes adifference.
Hey RedfireV8 where are you in Louisiana?
I'm in Abita Springs, just on the northshore...

A custom tune COULD get you better gas mileage if the tune were designed for that. But it isn't. It is designed for performance instead.
VMP Tuning, for example, offers economy tunes at the expense of performance for anybody that wants one.
I dropped 1-2 MPG when I went from stock to CAI + headers & tune. Then down another 1-2 MPG when I went supercharged. However, I think the supercharger MPG has more to do with my right foot.
