Alright before you go off on me let me explain. I am stuck trying to decide whether I want the Shelby Stripes I paid for put on or not. The color of the stripe is going to be silver. Now I know you are thinking do whatever the heck you like, but I am honestly stuck. One day I think yea, later I think no. I honestly would like your opinion on what you guys think. I am having no luck finding a CS with stripes so that is making it worse. Thanks.

 

I'm stuck just like you and have been thinking the same thing about my mustang.

but damn man you have such a clean looking mustang i would leave it as is. No Stripes.

I'm biased, but I like WITH stripes. That being said, you didnt say (or I missed it) if the stripes were to be painted on or vinyl. This makes a difference as well as size and gap you might do. I've seen numerous combinations and I still think that 10" dual stripes with a 1-1/4" gap looks nicest, but thats just my opinion. I initially had vinyl but did switch over to painted ones (the vinyl ones were 8") and I've never looked back. I LOVE the difference.

As far as the stripe goes spacing etc it looks just like yours. Actually to be more exact the second picture. They will in fact be vinyl. I have looked at many cars this guys has done and he does a killer job. No bubbles or anything, but I am sure that does not compare to painted ones. He did say he uses some technique with a machine on the edges so you can barely fill the ridge when running your finger across it. It will almost fool you into thinking it is paint.

 

I'm generally a fan of stripes but I'd leave yours as-is. Looks great

 

I'm thinking about getting some Le Mans vinyls that Shelby uses on the GT500. I really like the look even if its not painted.

 

i like stripes, although they are WAYYYY too played out.

 

Leave her the way she is... She is downright hot.... Unless you decide to paint some matte black stripes, then that would be sweet too.
