sorry to see the stang go, but it's just a toy and i'm sure the next toy will be just as fun.
Thank you for the kind words .

Yes, as good as I like to think my Droid is at being a camera, it doesn't do the color justice.

We'll see how it works out hammer. Regardless, I'd like to think I can still contribute to the forums and other's Stangs.

I'm in no rush or desperation to sell it. It would certainly take the right buyer at the right price, otherwise you're right. If I was going to lose money on it, I'd keep it.

I'm kind of in the same situation as you (well, not with a Saleen though). I want to sell mine and get something faster as a project, looking at Grand Nationals and older GT's, but I've decided that I'm not gonna really push it and if the right deal comes along, so be it. Most case scenarios, I'd be out money and in these times, that is a no-go.

Your car is really nice, I'd have a hard time parting with it.

Thanks for the compliment.

Those GN's can be quite the dragster. I remember an old video of Tim Allen and Jay Leno having a burnout contest. Allen shows up in a built Saleen, and Leno claims he just borrowed his wife's Buick. Was a Grand National with some serious tires on the back.

Leno lost though I think.

Yeah they can be pretty fast with a few relatively cheap mods. In a straight line that is. And I think their absolutely beautiful. There's a few '87s around here in the $8.5-13K range I was looking at, but they all need a little work. I just figured while I'm still in school, it's not a great idea to get a project car when mine will be reliable for a while. I've seen that video a few times on youtube. I don't think Leno's was the '87 intercooled model. And a GN has to be black IMO, otherwise it's not right
