Default flowmaster classics good and real bad

I have a an off road h-pipe and flowmaster classics. Love the sound but hate the trumeting. After the 4:10's were installed seems it trumets at the end of each gear to the point that i short shift it now to not hear it.
Has anybody found a away to do away with this or tried a muffler under the car in the conventional place.
There has got to be a cure for this other than putting the stock mufflers back on.

I had the same thing with my magnapacks, I put them before the axle and they sound great now. Magnapacks aren't chambered though, so they fit up there a lot easier, it will be tough getting chambered mufflers in that space without sacrificing too much ground clearance.

Resonators or hi-flow cats will take car of the problem. O/R midpipes and just about any axleback will produce trumpeting.

If you had long tubes it would be even worse. I have LTs and hf cats and still have trumpeting. Just got some pipes m80s to cut in and finally stop the trumpeting. Are you getting any drone with the classic flows?

did you install the m80's yet. Was thinking of going that route, let me know how they work out.

Getting some drone with the flowmasters thats part of having flowmasters, i can live with that, it doesnt really bother me but the trumeting is something else.

No they just came in the mail yesterday and the shop was booked up. Gotta wait till next week. I will defiantly post up. It was either m80s or some resonators from summit. I have never seen either before but you can see right through them.
