need new sub-forum
Dear Moderators,
I believe the time has come for a new sub-forum on this website. You have so expertly divided the mustang models into many sections making it easy for mustang owners to find specific information as it relates to their model.
The Mustang 2005-2011 Sub-Forum needs to be divided. At the very least it should be a 2005-2010 Mustang Forum and a new sub-forum needs to be created for the 2011 mustang.
The reason is simple, the 2005-2009 mustang at this point do not have any exterior features or drivetrain features that relate to the 2011 Mustang. Granted, the 2010 mustang is a more of a transitional model. half new style (with its exterior looks) and half old style (with the 2005-2009 drive train).
Your attention to this matter is most appreciated.

It's running smooth right now IMO...
The subforum differentiates between V6 and GT from 05 to present.
Although, once the 2011 cars constitutes the main traffic in about 6 months to a year or so, things will have to be re-arranged accordingly.

I believe you are correct. If it could be organized where technical remains the way it is 4.6l and 5.0L and yet split the general section 2005-2009 and 2010-2011 then I think that would work best.
I dont really see a reason for separate General Forums for V6 and GT. There are essentially the same car other than drivetrain. Separating forums by body would make more sense to me. The technical forum could take care of the drivetrain specific questions.
2005-2009 General
2010-2011 General
3.7L Technical
4.0L Technical
4.6L Technical
5.0L Technical

Something like this.
2005-2011 Mustang
2005-2009 General
2010-2011 General
3.7L Technical
4.0L Technical
4.6L Technical
5.0L Technical
I dont know if that is practical.

Under 2005-2011 Mustang (S197)
2005-2010 General.
-4.6 Tech
-4.0 Tech
2011-Present General
-5.0 Tech
-3.7 Tech
05/09 Appearance
2010-Present Appearance
Of course the Shelby and Handling Sections would remain the same

Agreed, we need a 5.0 section. Not just for the engine, but for the drivetrain and everything else that the 2011 doesn't have in common with the 05-09.
The 2010...could go either place, 05-09 or in with the 2011's.

We just had a redesign a couple months ago and already considered the changes to 2011. What we have now is what we all decided and it works perfectly well. I see no reason to make any changes at all.
