Default Seat Bar weird issue

You will have to forgive me, but I honestly don't know the term for the bar under the seat that moves it forward and back.

Anyway, my new 2011 v6 seems to have an odd issue with the seat bar. It seems like it doesn't like to latch into certain positions, but it isn't the whole seat, just the corner side near the console, aka the right side. Depending on what I am doing the corner will actually wiggle back and forth, and them sometimes catch and lock down.

Most of the time though, I have to readjust the seat a little until it firmly catches.

Has anyone else experienced this? I'm taking it to the dealer next tuesday (only day I could get it in), but figured I would see if anyone had perhaps any ideas.

Thanks all!

are your seats powered? If its mechanical adjustment, the seat may be between two latch points and a hard brake will lock it in.

Seats are manual, didn't get the powered seats. I have seen that a hard break will lock it in, what I wonder though is if it is locking in at the same point the other side of the seat is or not.
