I'd suggest that YOU WAIT for the one you WANTED! I wouldn't have even test driven it.
Also, do you know how difficult it's going to be to get a GT500?

Waiting will make you happier in the long run. I'm the sure the green auto vert is gorgeous and you would love it but ther eis a reason you ordered the other car. It's better to get exactly what you want, I think.

[UPDATE] Dealer Just Called...
Thanks everyone for their input. I know most of you said to wait, but I was really worried about my SHO not making it until January and I know I can always get another one down the line. Hopefully Ford will increase production and it won't be a 6 month wait next time.
I picked up the car yesterday at 3pm, and I'm really glad I did. I've changed my mind about the color. It's really growing on me. The road handling is amazing. It's so easy to drive! I took my kids for a drive with the top down and they had a blast. I had never considered a convertible, and I'm really happy I didn't wait. I love seeing my kids laugh and having a good time.
It's rainy and overcast today (Dearborn, Michigan's standard weather) so I can't take any nice pictures today, but as soon as I can, I'll post them.
