I'm not impressed. I'll wait to see what '13 brings. I'll probably have to wait even longer if that rear end stays as-is.

I've criticized the rear-end of the 2010+ too. There are things I don't really like about it. That being said, the brake lights are some of the best (maybe "the" best design) of any Mustang and there are so many other improvements in features, drive quality, and appearance that I don't see it alone as a valid reason to wait on purchase of a newer Mustang.
Smaller/Lighter scares me. The Mustang is small enough if you want to fit passengers, a V8, and/or luggage and groceries in it. It's also light enough right now weighing in less than the Camaro or Challenger. I don't see how you can make it much lighter while keeping a backseat and all the other features (noise insulation, etc) that make it a nice daily driver.

They used to make them smaller and lighter with a V8, passengers, luggages and groceries.
Like these...
Yeah it sure seems like it wouldn't be cheap. Who knows, we'll see I guess. I've been toying with the idea of buying a new one next summer, not sure I'd buy that Boss though... I have to see how this winter goes up in the mountains first. If the car will end up being a paperweight for 1/2 the year up here, I won't bother.
