Oh, and that Cobra is the real thing BTW.
They're a great American resource. They should be here (in my garage).

methinks they price this right at $40,000, a nice 'middle point' between a GT premium and a Shelby

Like these...
Nice collection! It's a little condescending to assume that my current latemodel is the only Mustang I'm familiar with or have ever owned though. There's no more space (maybe less) in a '65 Fastback, a '67 convertible, or a'69 Mach1, than a 2010 and if the weight savings are due to less safety features, worse brakes, fewer convenience features, and poor sound insulation...no thanks! We're talking NEW cars here and they've come a long way; I wouldn't want to go back for my daily driver.

Right on. One of the most impressive things about the latest Mustang, IMO, is how refined these cars are. Great performance, great fun to drive, and you don't get penalized with a noisy, gut busting ride, squeeks, rattles, and the generally crappy feel you got 30 years ago. I'm an older guy (59), so those things are important to me now. When I had my '70 Z28, all I cared about was "how fast is it, how loud is the exhaust, and do the girls like it." Age has taken its toll.
