Hi everyone!
Hey everyone! I just joined the forums today (though been doing a lot of reading the last couple of weeks).
I ordered a new 2011 Mustang GT/CS auto at the end of july (no vin yet) but will be a huge step up from my current 1999 v6 mustang.
A couple of questions I have from reading and browsing the few mods that are available already for the 2011.
1) I think I'm going to go with a Roush SC, Have they put one out yet? (couldn't find the price for one on their website.)
The reason for choosing Roush, They have a certified dealer 6 miles away!
2) Looking at the saleen body kit I noticed there are no fog lights. Since i have the California Special, how hard would it be to stick those fog lights on the saleen body kit?
Since I'm new to modding, what other mods are out there? I know CAI and tuning.
I have never done any mods other then basic light swapping, and stereo on my old Mustang, So any advice would be much appreciated.

cant really go wrong with roush bro, puts down amazing numbers and is well made. as for the kit, not sure, i havent seen a new saleen yet... that i can think of? if the grilles are the same dimensions then you should be able to use the CS fogs no worries.
I don't think there's a Roush supercharger kit out for the 5.0 yet, but just wait a little while and I bet there will be one soon. The 5.0 supercharger kits are starting to pop up everywhere now.
As for the foglights on the saleen, you can go with regular GT style fogs in the grille, or put them in the saleen bumper if you are good at fabricating stuff like that. I personally like the Roush bumper, and its got the foglights as well.

Heres some good pictures of the front of the new Saleen Front fascia. Just curious how hard it would be to cut a couple holes for my CS fog lights to fit in that bottom grill. Or am I just dreaming the impossible? Anyone have any ideas? I LOVE that fascia but I LOVE the look of the CS fog lights in the bottom grill.
Anyone a fabrication guru?

Welcome to the forums
Congrats on the 5.0! The Eaton 2300 is the best roots type blower out there right now for the Mustang. The proven M90 is also a great blower but consider it the little brother compared to the quad lobed rotor 2300.
Honestly, I am not sure how much the new 5.0s take to boost, but there are some companies that DO supply the 2300 series for the 5.0
I wouldn't go any other way if it was my ride.
The Saleen kit is the best I seen so far IMO...

Welcome aboard.
Drive it for a while in plain stock form. Get to know the car. Then with a better idea of what you want changed and what you don't want to give up in order to get the change, have at it. Your mind might even change between now and then.
You will find that one mod often leads to another. Sometimes it's because you get hooked on modding, other times it's because one of the mods ends up needing something else changed in order to work to its full potential. Case in point, solving the greater likelihood of wheel hop after adding that SC.
