Ok, I'll be the first to ask...how old are you? If youre still living at home, you have very generous parents I thought I was bad when I was in college and had a Jaguar, NSX and BMW in our driveway, but a Saleen....MMmmmmm
Very beautiful garage there!!!

I am also fortunate to have a dad who is in to cars as well. Since I bought the Caddy, he's taking over payments on the Saleen as he would rather I not sell it, especially in this economy, which I had originally intended to do as I didn't really want 2 car payments for that long. It's a good deal for him since its paid down quite a bit and I'm not asking for any money. A big part of the reason we wanted to keep it was because of all the work we've put into it. And our unique situation in dealing with the blown motor gave us some extra money from the dealership to play. I could maybe sell the car for 28k in this economy, but to build it again like we did would cost nearly 36-38k (including the purchase of the car). Including the original purchase of the car and the new engine/upgrades, we maybe have 27.5k into it.
Also keep in mind that I was able to negotiate the deals on both cars low enough that it would have cost me only a few thousand less to have bought a 2011 GT than to have bought both of these cars. If you keep your eyes open, are patient and feel comfortable negotiating then you can get a lot for your money, especially in this economy. I bought the Saleen back in December/January, and between that and the Caddy now owe less than the cost of a new GT.
The BMW . . . well thats all my dads .

My Dad, GF and I took the cars out this last weekend for a photoshoot. My Dad's is the only auto of the three, so my GF had to drive that one which made her very nervous lol. But she ended up loving it.
My dad drove the stang. It was actually really enjoyable to drive behind it and get to hear it/see it in action. He lit up the tires and slid it around corners a few times .
I'll post more pics later when I'm not at work, but wanted to share some. Amazing what a good camera and some sunlight does to the color of the Stang. Almost hard to look at.

I am usually not a fan of the color red, but that is a great looking car.
